Considering moving to Pittsburgh? That's probably a good idea...it's consistently rated as one of the most livable cities in the United States, and I definitely agree. This page should eventually contain a lot more information, but for now I can recommend the Pittsburgh Wikipedia page, which is pretty comprehensive. I also think Zillow is a great resource, if you're looking to buy a house.
